Abstract:EnglishisthecarrierofEnglishspeech.SpeakerspublishtheirideasandsharewithothersinEnglishonatopic.Therefore,fromthestandpointoflearningEnglish,Englishspeakingismorepractical.Englishspeechcontestcannotonlyeffectivelyhelpusdeveloptheabilityoflanguageapplicationandmunication.ThustheEnglishspeechcontestcaneffectivelyexerciseourprehensiveabilityandquality.ThispaperdiscussestheteachingofEnglishspeechcontestfromtheangleconstructivismlearningtheoryinordertopromotethedevelopmentofEnglishspeechcontestteaching,developtheoryofteachingdesign,makestudentsbetteradapttosocietyandcultivatethetalentsthatsocietyneeds.

I.Introduction

InEnglishspeechcontest,contestantsaremorejudgedwhethertheyownprehensivequality.However,eventuallythedecisiveelementsofsuccessdonotjustlieinplayers'standardpronunciation,intonationandexcellentability.Infact,itultimatelydependsontheirfake-outpowerofobservation,thinkingandinnovation,therichknowledgeandopenviewtoconquerjudgesandaudience.SomeresearchersalsobegintostudyhowtoconductEnglishspeechcontestteaching.DomesticscholarsresearchtheaffectionandstrategyofEnglishspeechpetitionsuchashowtoimprovestudents'oralEnglish,writingability,psychologicalquality.Butmostofthemfocusonhowtoimprovestudents'EnglishproficiencyandmakestudentswininEnglishspeechcontest.

ThispaperexplainsthecharacteristicsofEnglishspeechpetition,discussesteachingofEnglishspeechcontestfromtheangleofConstructivismlearningtheoryinordertodeveloptheoryofteachingdesignandimprovestudents'abilityandqualityandmakestudentsbetteradapttosociety,cultivatethetalentsthatsocietyneeds.

II.LiteratureReview

2.1EnglishSpeechContest

EnglishSpeechalsobelongstothecategoryofspeech,andithasthegeneralfeaturesofspeechbutitalsohasitsownparticularity.

Constructivistthinksstudentsastheconstructerswhocreatesignificantknowledge.Learnersdonotgainknowledgefromtheoutsidedirectly,butmoveknowledgetomemorybasedontheirpreviousexperience,constructnewunderstandingofknowledgethroughtheinteractionwiththeoutsideworld.Knowledgeconstructionofdifferentpersonsisdifferent(陈琦,2005).

ThesemostwinnersoflearningEnglishrealizethattheycanlearnauthenticEnglish,bywatchingmovies.ForthemthemainpurposeofwatchingmoviesandTVisnottoappreciatetheplotbuttoappreciatelanguage,imitatelanguageandlearnlanguage.Somestudentsevensaytheycollectoneortwohundredfilms.ThentheybuytheCDtraywhichhasnotChinesesubtitlesspecially.Theirfavoriteformoviestothispoint,theycanwatchthemoviessixoreighttimes,whentheywakeupevenatnight,theystillcrawluptowatchitsothattheyreallyrecitethemoviedialogue,includingsentencepronunciationandintonation.Theycanrememberthewholesentenceinfilm.
