Inthisarticle,wereviewedsixteenarticlesselectedfromseventyarticlesaboutlisteningstrategyusepublishedfrom2005to2010.Theconclusionisthat:anincreasingnumberofresearchersshowinterestsinresearchonlisteningstrategiesandtheybegantousethemainstreamtheoriesandmethodstoobservelisteningstrategies.However,theoverallqualityofresearchonlisteningstrategiesshouldbeimproved.Weshouldexpandourresearchscopetoincludeprimaryandsecondaryschoolstudents’listeningstrategyuseandstudythecorrelationsoflisteningstrategieswithotherfactorsthataffectlisteningprehension,suchastasktypes,listeningcontexts.Inaddition,avarietyofresearchmethods,suchasthink-aloud,interviewsandqualitativeanalysisshouldbeadoptedtoobservetheuseoflisteningstrategiessoastogetanaccurateandpletepictureoflisteningstrategyuse.References:
