Abstract:Althoughanizationalslackresearchpositsvariousrelationshipsbetweenafirm'sslackresourcesandinnovation,findingstodatehavebeenambiguous.Toprovideinsightintothisrelationship,thispaperstudiestheimpactofanizationalslackontechnologicalinnovationbyusingempiricalanalysisbasedonthedatagetfrom283firmsinHenanProvincebyquestionnaire.Theresultshowsthatanizationalslackispositivelyrelatedtotechnologicalinnovation.TheanalysisalsofindsthatthereistheinvertedU-shapedrelationshipbetweenafirm'sslackresourcesandtechnologicalinnovation,butthisrelationshipisnotsignificant.Overall,resultshighlighttheimportanceofadditionalresearchintointerveningfactorsimpactingtheslack-innovationrelationship.2016IEEE.
