摘 要:Platelet-richplasma(PRP)waspreparedfromhumanadultperipheralbloodandfromhumanumbilicalcord(uc)bloodandthepropertieswereparedinaseriesofinvitrobioassays.QuantificationofgrowthfactorsinPRPandplatelet-poorplasma(PPP)fractionsrevealedincreasedlevelsofmitogenicgrowthfactorsPDGF-AB,PDGF-BB,andFGF-2,theangiogenicagentVEGFandthechemokineRANTESinucPRPparedtoadultPRP(aPRP)andPPP.ToparetheabilityofthevariousPRPproductstostimulateproliferationofhumanbonemarrow(BM),ratBMandpactbone(CB)-derivedmesenchymalstemcells(MSC),cellswereculturedinserum-freemediafor4and7dayswithvaryingconcentrationsofPRP,PPP,orbinationsofrebinantmitogens.ItwasfoundthatwhileallformsofPRPandPPPweremoremitogenicthanfetalbovineserum,ucPRPresultedinsignificantlyhigherproliferationby7daysthanadultPRPandPPP.Weobservedthatadditionofaslittleas0.1%ucPRPcausedgreaterproliferationofMSCeffectsthanthemostpotentbinationofrebinantgrowthfactorstested,namelyPDGF-AB+PDGF-BB+FGF-2,eachat10ng/mL.Similarly,inchemotaxisassays,ucPRPshowedgreaterpotencythanadultPRP,PPPfromeithersource,orindeedthanbinationsofeitherrebinantgrowthfactors(PDGF,FGF,andTGF-β1)orchemokinespreviouslyshowntostimulatechemotacticmigrationofMSC.Lastly,wesuccessfullydemonstratedthatPRPandPPPrepresentedaviablealternativetoFBScontainingmediaforthecryo-preservationofMSCfromhumanandratBM.

摘 要:Titaniumdioxideisthemostinvestigatedsingle-crystallinesysteminthesurfacescienceofmetaloxides,andtheliteratureonrutile(110),(100),(001),andanatasesurfacesisreviewed.ThispaperstartswithasummaryofthewidevarietyoftechnicalfieldswhereTiO2isofimportance.Thebulkstructureandbulkdefects(asfarasrelevanttothesurfaceproperties)arebrieflyreviewed.Rulestopredictstableoxidesurfacesareexemplifiedonrutile(110).Thesurfacestructureofrutile(110)isdiscussedinsomedetail.Theoreticallypredictedandexperimentallydeterminedrelaxationsofsurfacegeometriesarepared,anddefects(stepedgeorientations,pointandlinedefects,impurities,surfacemanifestationsofcrystallographicshearplanes—CSPs)arediscussed,aswellastheimagecontrastinscanningtunnelingmicroscopy(STM).Thecontroversyaboutthecorrectmodelforthe(1×2)reconstructionappearstobesettled.Differentsurfacepreparationmethods,suchasreoxidationofreducedcrystals,cancauseadrasticeffectonsurfacegeometriesandmorphology,andremendationsforpreparingdifferentTiO2(110)surfacesaregiven.ThestructureoftheTiO2(100)-(1×1)surfaceisdiscussedandtheproposedmodelsforthe(1×3)reconstructionarecriticallyreviewed.Veryrecentresultsonanatase(100)and(101)surfacesareincluded.
TheelectronicstructureofstoichiometricTiO2surfacesisnowwellunderstood.Surfacedefectscanbedetectedwithavarietyofsurfacespectroscopies.ThevibrationalstructureisdominatedbystrongFuchs–Kliewerphonons,andhigh-resolutionelectronenergylossspectraoftenneedtobedeconvolutedinordertorenderusefulinformationaboutadsorbedmolecules.
Thegrowthofmetals(Li,Na,K,Cs,Ca,Al,Ti,V,Nb,Cr,Mo,Mn,Fe,Co,Rh,Ir,Ni,Pd,Pt,Cu,Ag,Au)aswellassomemetaloxidesonTiO2isreviewed.Thetendencyto'wet'theoverlayer,thegrowthmorphology,theepitaxialrelationship,andthestrengthoftheinterfacialoxidation/reductionreactionallfollowcleartrendsacrosstheperiodictable,withthereactivityoftheoverlayermetaltowardsoxygenbeingthemostdecisivefactor.Alkaliatomsformorderedsuperstructuresatlowcoverages.Recentprogressin
