Fromabovebasis,theKHintegraltheoryisalsoappliedtoputetheconversionwaveresponses.WiththederivationoftheconversionwaveofKHintegralequation,wesimulattedthenearseismconversionwaveresponseandtheteleseismicconversionwaveresponserespectively.Theresultsparedwiththatofthereflectivitymethodandthedynamicraytracinggivessatisfactoryresult.
Finally,wetrytocalculatethetheoreticalseismograminthemulti-layeredmediumandthesituationthatthematerialparametersarelinearbelowthesurface.Theresultisconsistentwiththatfromthereflectivitymethod.
OuranalysisindicatesthatKHintegralmethodisapreferablesyntheticseismogrammethodinalaterallyinhomogeneouselasticmedium.Theaccuracyofthisapproximationisexcelledothermethodsandithasthehighputingefficiencyalso.

ABSTRACT
Firstly,theoreticalbackgroundoftwoseismicarraytechniquesonabasisoftheraytheory,theBeamPowerAnalysisandtheMigrationStacking,areintroduced.Theformerissuitableforplanewaves,andthelaterissuitableforbothplanewavesandsphericalwaves.
TwoarraysareformedwithstationsoftheCapitalRegionDigitalSeismographNetwork(CRDSN)ofBeijingforthisstudy.Oneisequippedwithshort-periodseismometers,andanotherisequippedwithbroad-bandseismometers.Differentarrayhasdifferentarraytransferfunction(ATF),anddifferentarrayhasdifferentarraygain.TheATFandarraygainsoftheabovetwoarraysarediscussed.Alsotheskillsofsettingparametersindeterminationoftheapparentslownessvectoraresimplyillustrated.
ThesoftwareismadeusingMatlabputerlanguageasatoolofprocessingarraydataintimedomainfordeterminationoftheradiationsourcesoflargeearthquakesbasedontheprinciplepresentedinthepreviouschapter,soabriefintroductionofthemainfunctionsandstructuresofthesoftwareismade.Thereliabilityofthesoftwareistestedaswellastheeffectsofthegeometryofarraysonthelocatingresultsbymeansofsomenumericaltests.
The2004Sumatra-Andamanhugeearthquakewasfollowedbyanumberofmoderate-magnitudeaftershocks.Itallowsustocorrecttheradiationsourcesofthemain-shockusingtheaftershocks'locationsunderconditionofassumingthelocationsoftheseaftershockspublishedbyNEICwerecorrect.Itisdiscussedthathowthelocationsoftheradiationsourcesofthemain-shockarecorrectedandtwoapproachesofcorrectinglocations,namedInterpolationCorrectionandFittingCorrection,respectively,areproposedfordifferentsituations.
Finally,thetwotechniquesareappliedtotheshort-periodrecordingsandbroadbandrecordingsofCRDSNgeneratedbythe2004Sumatra-Andamanhugeearthquakeforthelocationsoftheenergyradiationsources,andthesourceinformationregardingofruptureduration,tempo-spatialprocess,faultgeometry,averagerupturevelocityandothersisobtained.Keywords:thearraytechniques,the2004Sumatra-Andamanearthquake,theenergyradiationsources
