Abstract:asearlyastwentiethCentury,foreignscholarsbegantofocusonthestudyofEnglishacademicwritingintheyearof80s.AsarepresentativeofESPgenreanalysisschool,Swales'stheoryofstepanalysishasbeenwidelyappliedtothestudyofvariouschaptersofacademicpapers.However,comparedwithotherchapters,fewstudiesfocusontheconclusion,andlackoftheconclusionofthethesis.ThisstudyassumesthatthereisaregularstructureintheconclusionpartofthegraduatethesisofEnglishmajors,andthisstructurecanberepresentedbythestepanalysisandthecomponentelementanalysis.Theresearchwillbetoanswerthefollowingthreequestions:（1）whataretheEnglishmajorgraduatethesisconclusionchapter?（2）inordertorealizethesefunctions,howistherhetoricalstructureconclusionchapter?（3）inwhichmovestherhetoricalstructureandconclusionchaptermoves,eachofwhichcomponentelementsandprominentlanguageclues?TheEnglishMajorPostgraduatesintwolanguageacquisitionandEnglishteachingdirectionofthegraduationthesisastheresearchobject,fromtheChineseHowNetwererandomlyselectedfrom2012-2014fromthreenormaluniversitygraduategraduationthesis,atotalof90articles.BasedonthefivestepextractionoftheNwogumodelandtheanalysisoftheBitchenermodelproposedbytheauthorinthepaper,theauthorestablishesanewmodelofthefivestepandthethirteenstepanalysisinthefieldofappliedlinguistics.Throughqualitativeresearchmethodsdescribed,theresultsofthestudyshowedthatEnglishmajorgraduatethesisconclusionchapterismainlythefollowing:summarizethecurrentresearch（includingresearchbackground,researchpurpose,researchmethodsandresearchresults,presentstheoverview）studyfoundthattheevaluationoftheoreticalresearch,evaluationofthepracticalsignificanceofthestudy,discussesthelimitationsthecurrentresearchandsuggestionsforfutureresearch.Second,inordertorealizethesefunctions,the90chapterconclusionrhetoricalstructureiscomposedoffivemovesaltogether,namely“chapter”,“studyonreproduction”and“researchsummary”and“evaluation”,and“futureresearchsuggestion”.The“reproduce”thefourpoints“moves,presentingbackgroundinformation,researchpurpose,researchquestionsorhypothesespresented”,“presentresearchmethods”and“generalresearchachievementsshow”;“thestudyfoundthatsummarizethemoveisdividedintothreemoves:”thestudyfoundinstraightform“and”researchresults“,”interpretationofresults“;”evaluationonthemovecanbedividedintofourmoves,respectivelyisthe“theoreticalcontributiontotheevaluationofpracticalsignificanceevaluation”and“explainingthetheoryandpracticeofcontributionevaluation,evaluationofthelimitationsofthe”fivestep“bythelanguage;thereisthe”and“interpretation”.Finally,thefivestepsandthethirteenstepsaremadeupofacertaincomponentelementoracertainlanguageclue.Thelanguageandthethirteenstepsaremadeupofacertaincomponentelementoracertainlanguageclue.
