摘要：在过去许多年,东西方的翻译理论家都只重视单词和句子的意义翻译,而忽视了文本的类型对于翻译结果所造成的影响.而德国的功能学派翻译理论家赖斯等人提出了文本类型的理论.不仅为翻译的过程和策略的选择提供了新的依据和方法,也为翻译的评判开辟了一个新的视角.本文运用功能理论为视角,评论了《给吴宓先生的一封信》的三个中译本的翻译.
